A year’s worth of food for Chilterns Dog Rescue

We regularly run a competition giving smaller rescue centres across the UK the chance to win a year’s worth of food. It’s our way of giving a little extra support to the incredible people working every day to give rescue dogs a second chance.

We’re delighted that Chilterns Dog Rescue Society was our latest winner.

We visited the team at Chilterns to deliver a year’s worth of our our food, helping keep the dogs in their care fed over the months ahead.

Chilterns Dog Rescue Society has been rescuing and rehoming dogs for more than 60 years. Their team cares for dogs of all ages, breeds and backgrounds, giving each one the individual care and support they need while they wait for their new home.

Visiting the centre gave us the chance to meet some of the dogs and the amazing people who look after them. Seeing the work that goes into caring for every dog was another reminder of just how important smaller, independent rescues are.

A year’s supply of food means more than simply keeping bowls full. It helps take away one of the everyday costs of running a rescue, allowing more of their resources to go towards veterinary care, training, rehabilitation and finding dogs the loving homes they deserve.
