Proud to support St Francis Dogs Home

Earlier this month, we took a trip down to the beautiful (and very windy!) coast of Newquay, Cornwall, to visit St Francis Dogs Home. We were there for a very special reason: to present them with a £1,000 donation, made possible entirely thanks to our amazing customers.

Every month, we run a competition where one rescue centre receives a £1,000 donation. This month, St Francis Dogs Home were the winners, and we couldn’t have been happier to celebrate with them in person.

Why St. Francis Dogs Home matters

St Francis Dogs Home has been a cornerstone of the local community for decades, providing love, care, and second chances to dogs who need them most. Their mission is simple yet powerful:

• Rescue and rehabilitate: Giving dogs a safe, caring environment where they can recover and rebuild trust.
• Rehome with care: Carefully matching dogs to the right families, ensuring every adoption is a true forever home.
• Promote responsible ownership: Educating the public about welfare, training, and the lifelong responsibilities of dog ownership.
• Support for life: Offering ongoing advice and help to families who adopt, so every dog has the best chance to thrive.

It was inspiring to see first-hand the passion of their team, who go above and beyond to make sure every dog gets the second chance they deserve.

A glimpse of the future

While we were there, we also got a sneak peek at something very exciting, the new kennel block currently under construction. It’s already starting to take shape, and we can’t wait to see the difference it will make once finished. We’ll be keeping a close eye out for photos when it’s complete, and we’re sure the dogs will love their upgraded space!
